Ford Motor Company supports The Foundation

The Ford Motor Company supports the Sigma Omega Foundation at its Mardi Gras Scholarship Fundraiser.

On March 18, 2017, the Sigma Omega Foundation co-hosted with the Sigma Omega Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. its Mardi Gras Scholarship Fundraiser at Room 43.  The emcee for the evening was the lovely Monique Spence. Sean Legend and Eric ET Taylor provided the bi-level musical entertainment. Norman’s Bistro catered a wonderful cajun buffet. This event was special because it was the Foundation’s first official fundraiser and thanks to a major sponsorship donation from Ford, the Foundation raised over $10,000.00 for its scholarship fund.

The Foundation wishes to thank all its donors including Norman’s Bistro, Batter and Berries, McDonald’s, Phenomenal Fitness and State Farm. The Foundation also thanks Art “Chat Daddy” Sims for his support.
Importantly, the Foundation also thanks all of the individual donors and attendees who graced us with your presence and supported this worthy endevour. Stay tuned for more events this year and we look forward to seeing you at next year’s Mardi Gras.
